Jungheinrich chose interactive multitouch technology by eyefactive as their means of presentation at several international trade fairs. At the Logistica in Utrecht for example a custom made interactive table was deployed, very much to the delight of their visitors. On the large scale touchscreen of 3,5 square meters a virtual warehouse became a playful highlight.The app HotSpots geographically arranged different products and services of the client in a virtual warehouse. By touch a window opened displaying further information on images, brochures and videos. Visitors could pick between two languages and if required, send information to an email account via a virtual keyboard. The multiuser software could be operated by any number of visitors simultaneously. An additional feature was the eyefactive touchscreen object recognition: printed codes were stuck on tablets, which were allocated to certain employees of Jungheinrich. If an employee put his or her tablet on the counter, it was immediately recognized by the system and an individually customized version of the app MediaBrowser opened. From within the app further information could be forwarded to the visitor in consultation via email, automatically including the personalized contact details of the consulting employee. The success of the interactive multitouch installation also shows in numbers: 50.000 media were opened in four days within the touchscreen software at CeMAT.
